We took Ian to Niawanda Park (right on the Niagara River) on Saturday to get out of the house and enjoy the nice weather.

Surprisingly the park wasn’t very busy…we came to find out that was because the wind off the water made it a little too cool to enjoy for long. Many people were bundled up in jackets and full-length pants. We thought they were crazy until we stayed for a bit and realized, it WAS a little chilly. Regardless, we stayed for about an hour and a half!

Ian wasn’t very happy to leave when we finally packed him up. We’ll have to go back again when its a little warmer out. He really liked looking at the water, seaguls, boats, jet-skis, squirrells, ducks and all the bike riders. (He even learned the word “boat” while we were there!)

Here are a few pictures of our visit to the park….

Sitting “nice” for a picture with Daddy
