I participated in a game on the Two Peas website called a Digi Morph Challenge. Essentially, it’s the digi-scrapping version of “telephone”.

The first person in the line creates a layout and they send their layout to the next person in line. The second person designs a layout inspired by the first person’s work. (Are you confused yet?) By the time it gets to the end of the line, the layouts are drastically different and it’s fascinating watch the transformation.

This was my submission to the challenge:

This was my inspiration:

I picked up her color scheme in my layout although I chose different shades of orange and teal. I used paper with graphic design to mimic the checked pattern in her layout. In addition, my background paper, with it’s floral pattern, echos the scalloped edge of her orange border. My LO also has 4 pictures although I chose to scatter them through out the layout. I really liked her use of orange paper running vertically behind her pictures and chose to repeat that on my layout with the brown and cream papers running horizontally across my layout.

Pretty neat, huh?
