We took the boys to see Disney on Ice a few weeks back and had an awesome time. The first half of the show had portions of Lion King, Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch with visits from Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy in between. After a short intermission, we got to watch the skaters reenact Disney’s Peter Pan. Since the boys LOVE Peter Pan, this went over really well.
In the parking garage, super excited to go see our show. Well, except for Matthew who does not appreciate stopping for pictures. 🙂
I bought the boys overpriced, light up, twirly things. They loved them and I plan to bring them with us to Disney in November.
One last family shot!
The Fab 5 (Mickey & friends) arrive and the boys are in heaven!
Matthew watching the Lion King. Can you see him pointing at the ice?
We had issues getting Matthew to sit. Thankfully he started sitting not too long after this since I think he was blocking the view for the people behind us.
Finale of Lion King:
I don’t have any pictures of Little Mermaid or Lilo & Stitch because Matthew was sitting on my lap.
I was so excited for the Peter Pan portion of the show. The boys really love Peter Pan and get really into it. Needless to say, the second half was well received. I don’t think Ian or Matthew moved an inch and Ian just laughed his head off at Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.
Tinkerbell, Peter and Peter’s shadow (someone was skating the mirror image of Peter’s routine wearing full black, including a mask):
We can fly! We can fly! We can fly!
A pirate ship arrives!
Hook and Smee on the ship:
Tick Tock!
Finale of the show:
Lion King people in the foreground, Little Mermaid/Lilo & Stitch in the background, Peter Pan people on the left:
Lilo & Stitch at the edge of the ice, Little Mermaid people skating over, Mickey & friends along the right side:
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy:
Everyone waving good-bye as Peter and Tinkerbell take off!
Bye, Mickey! See you real soon!
