Yes, it took me two full months to process 6 pictures and upload 1 video. What can I say? January and February are brutal for accountants. Throw in about 8 family birthdays, two big birthday parties, a bridal show, a bridal shower, a trip to Virginia and more sick people than an emergency room can hold and all of a sudden, you’re understanding why it took 2 months to edit 6 pictures and upload 1 video. 🙂
Anyway…enough with the excuses.
The bowling alley that hosts Ian’s Saturday morning league ran a New Year’s Eve special where you got 2 and a half hours of moonlight bowling, a large pizza and pitcher of pop for 4 people at a really great price. We picked the noon to 2:30pm time slot and reserved two lanes for our party. Mike, Ian, Matthew and I bowled on one lane. Mom, Dad, Rachel and Nick bowled on the second lane. We had sooooo much fun.
This bowling experience marked the first time Matthew has ever bowled.
It was kind of a disaster.
He was interested for all of about 2 frames and then completely lost interest.
He even attempted to chase his ball down the lane. LOL
Thankfully, he was pretty happy to run around and eat while the rest of us bowled.
Ian had a great time and successfully picked up this spare:
They eventually turned the black lights on and the music up for a fun family-style New Year’s Eve party.
We even did a countdown at 2pm and blew noisemakers to welcome 2011! I hope we can make this an annual event!
