When we got Ian’s 1st grade info home in the summer, it indicated that Ian would have a long term sub for the first half of the year because his regular teacher was off on maternity leave. We really liked his long term sub and were a little worried about how the transition would go when his regular teacher started in January. We knew he would be fine academically but we were worried that the transition would disrupt him.
After a few weeks of being back, his regular teacher called and left us this message.
