(Matthew pretending to be “Sooferman”.)

Back in December, Matthew turned a ripe 30 months old. We had a pediatrician appointment scheduled right before Christmas. Which I completely forgot about until about 5 minute to go before the appointment. Needless to say, I had to reschedule. Mike took him to the rescheduled appointment in January.

The primary purpose for the appointment was to make sure Matthew was still hitting developmental milestones like he should be during the 2 year time frame. We had to fill out an extensive questionnaire about Matthew’s skills for them to assess him prior to the visit.

Based on our observations in the completed assessment, Matthew was slightly behind the curve verbally but was meeting or advanced on the remaining points. The doctor did not feel that Matthew’s verbal skills were a delay and said that his continued improvement was appropriate for his age. All-in-all, we were relieved by the results.

Height: 37.01″ (78th percentile)
Weight: 32lbs 3oz (75th percentile)
BMI: Healthy/16.5 (57th percentile)

Now we need this boy to grow like a weed for our trip to Disney World in November. C’mon baby boy, we need you to hit 40-44 inches. Grow baby, grow! 🙂
