I’ve been a bit overwhelmed with life and completely unmotivated to blog….so guess what I did? I decided to commit yet another thing! LOL I decided to do Scavenger Hunt Sunday with my friend Lauren. Basically, each week there are 5 miscellaneous subjects and you’re supposed to take a photo that is a creative take on the subject. Lauren and I agreed to take at least 1 picture each week (and she’s been an overachiever and done 5 each time!!!)
Of course, the week I commit to taking pictures would also be the week I completely flaked out on her. Isn’t that always the way? LOL
The good news is that I actually managed to take 1 picture for this week’s scavenger hunt!
Behold! My sub-par, completely uncreative submission:
Ian and Matthew’s rooms are easily my favorite rooms in the house. I spent more time planning and decorating their rooms than the rest of the rooms in the house all together.
Matthew is currently in the nursery that we decorated for Ian over 5 years ago. I LOVE the soft green walls and the pastel colors. All of the decor has a stars and moon theme and this shelf is probably one of my favorite items. The stuffed animals on the right were given as gifts and the little triceratops on the left is a toy I bought while pregnant. Triceratops were always my favorite dinosaur and I had to buy it when I saw the colors were such a good match for our nursery. The bear/baby blocks figure was on one of the cakes that my sister-in-law made for my baby shower. Behind the figure is a framed print that I made of Matthew’s foot when he was three weeks old. I love that reminder of how tiny he used to be. π
There is little in life more precious than a little baby foot! Love it!
