I had a massive case of insomnia overnight Saturday night and was up between the hours of 1:00AM and 5:30AM. By the time I fell asleep, it seemed like it was immediately time to wake up again. As a result, I really don’t have many good pictures of the boys Easter morning. Most are blurry because I was barely awake when I started taking them. 🙂 Oh well!
As is ALWAYS the case, I…**ahem**…the Easter Bunny totally went overboard for Ian and Matthew’s baskets.
Matthew’s basket contained:
-A pair of flip flops
-Rain boots
-Green and blue stripped pull-over hoodie
-Madagascar 2
-Candy
-a new Cars car (Sheriff)
Ian received:
-Rain boots and umbrella
-Kindergarten preparation workbook
-BOLT and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
-Candy
-Hi Ho Cherry-O
-a new Cars car (Lightening McQueen)
The Easter Bunny hid a bunch of candy-filled eggs all around the play room. Matthew kind of seemed confused and Ian was pretty obsessed with eating candy so needless to say, Mike and I had to do a lot of “hey, why don’t you look inside such-and-such toy?!?!?” haha Oh well. Maybe next year they’ll be more into it.
This year was definitely the year of the shoe and children’s DVDs. There were 3 DVDs and 3 pairs of shoes in the baskets.
(This is literally the best shot I got of the flip flops. Sass would NOT hold still. LOL)
The boots are going to come in really handy since we have areas of our backyard that regularly have standing water. We can’t seem to keep the boys out of the water and in the last 3 days, we’ve had to throw their shoes in the laundry a total of 3 times. Yay for rubber boots!!! 🙂

As always, LOVE your pics!!
