Ian has been fascinated with golf for a long time so we’ve registered him for lessons a few times. This year, he attended a week-long golf day camp. When we registered him for the camp, we saw they ran a kids golf tournament later in the summer. We didn’t know much about it but figured he’d have fun golfing with kids his age so we signed him up for that too.

Ian was very pleased with his golf game but we weren’t sure how he measured up against his peers. When we found out there was a post-tournament picnic at the clubhouse, we all decided to go.

Okay, this may be more appropriately described as “outdoor movie night hangover” or “up too late last night”. Regardless, my big 1st grader needed carried and fell asleep on his daddy’s shoulder while shopping for school supplies. Love this kid.
The civic association for our neighborhood hosted a free outdoor movie night at the playground next to the boys’ school. We invited the Colombos and got to see Lego Movie one more time. Lots of fun!
