We bought season tickets to the Theatre of Youth, a theatre company that performs live shows to children and families.  The first show we saw was “Seussical”.  A really nice thing about shows at Theatre of Youth is that the actors do a Q&A session after the show and answer questions from the children in the audience.  Theatre of Youth is a really great way to introduce our children to a live theater environment.

Ian got a recorder this year and (not surprisingly) he picked it up quickly.  We’ve already started discussing what instrument he might play once he’s old enough.  I’m pushing piano but he’d like to play saxophone.

They should rename this “Chaotic House”.  I always leave Open House exasperated and wanting to drink a bottle of wine. Too many people, not enough space, kids running around all over the place. AAAHHHH!!! LOL
